It seems like this past week I've been posting a lot of concept art and previews from some of my upcoming projects. So I figured why not keep doing it. Here are some of the style designs for AO-Maru. We're hard at work trying to find a aesthetic for the human characters that match what we already have for AO-Maru, and here's one of the guys' early attempts.

Cause I can never have too much going on, I decided to get started working on another graphic novel. I'm gonna be working on it with an artist named Ryan Onorato on it and though I won't say much just yet, will give you a little tease . As is often the case when comics are in the development stages, the artists attached tend to come and go somewhat freely. Such is the case with my series Life (With Friends). I recently had to sign a new artist to take over the helm, and he's shaping up to be the best one yet. Check out the character sheet he just sent me.

I won't say much about it just yet, except that he's the title character of a graphic novel I recently signed on to write. He's the brainchild of artist Leo Blanchette and I'll be working with him and several other incredibly talented people to bring him to life.Plus, if you're interested, AO-Maru and all the other characters in the book are available for purchase if you wish to use them on your website, as a corporate mascot, or anything like that.
